How do you create a town symbol on MySims for DS?

Has she gave you the shovel yet? If not keep chatting with her and she'll end up giving you a shovel and asks you to dig. Keep digging for her, finding ore. She'll end up charging for using the shovel, but in the end after you have like 300 points she'll let you trade the points in on a list of items or money, go for the items and you have a choice of heads and bodies, and buy one of each, then just go to the mayor and give them to her, and in a day the symbol will be built :)
