How long does it take to reach level 7, and become a moderator?

It could take you as long as you want it to take, for me it only took me 10 months to get to level 7. As far as becoming a moderator you become one as soon as you sign on to this site, what i mean by that is that you have the ability to moderate what goes and what stays by the ability of reporting bad stuff on here.
