Software for usb scanner??? freeware please..?

I have anti virus in my laptop but i just want to be more secure that if somebody put usb in my laptop it will scan or detect viruses. I read some software that they lock usb port to avoid putting usb drives and type the pword first before you can access them.. Does anyone knows some software like what I'm trying to say. Freeware please.. Thanks!
