Why is it so hard to just to pull up my yahoo mail. it always wants me to sign in to download accelerator?

Every time I try to sign into Yahoo mail, it will not give me the screen. Always wanting me to down ALLOT YAHOO ACCELERATOR in hugh letters and keeps giving me that screen instead of Yahoo. I have never had a problem pulling it up quickly before - along with AOL, but now it is very flustrating and I'm ready to give YAHOO up and have all my mail sent to AOL.
